Location
The Saplings are two self-catering holiday cottages situated in a rather idyllic rural position on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
The bungalows are (on the outskirts of the village of Bothel and not far from Bassenthwaite), and they sit within 88 acres of woodland and countryside.
Keswick 12 miles, Cockermouth 7 miles, Solway Coast 10 miles, with views looking over towards Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite and Keswick in the distance.
Accommodation
The Saplings sleeps 2/4 people and all the accommodation is on the ground floor, both are double glazed and have electric central heating. When you walk through the front door there is an entrance hall which leads to the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with hob and oven a washing machine and a tall fridge freezer and microwave.
Connecting to the kitchen is the lounge which there are patio doors overlooking the garden and woodland, and a patio area. There is ample seating for 4 people and TV Freeview and DVD player, also in the lounge is the dining table and chairs.
There is a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom and, also a family bathroom, with bath and overhead shower. The hallway is tiled so you can hang your wet coats if required. All bed linen and towels are provided and beds made up for your arrival.
Both cottages have the same layout, except for 2 The Saplings has a walk-in shower and not a bath.
There is a shed for storing your bikes,( for 1 The Saplings) parking for 2/3 cars opposite the properties.
We are dog-friendly and well behaved dogs are permitted at this property. (Please let us know at time of booking).
